At Inspirit Behavioral Health, Alysa brings over 12 years of counseling experience to guide adolescents, adults, couples, and families on their path towards healing and fulfillment.

Known for her warm, calming presence and authentic, bold communication, she embodies the essence of "inspirit"—to fill others with courage, hope, and purpose. Alysa’s practice is a balance of mindful and behavioral therapy, offering both practical tools and heartfelt guidance to help clients care for themselves and embrace the transformative power of connection.

She blends CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems to help clients recover and has specialized in treating eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, and attachment and relationship concerns her entire career.

Alysa’s approach to treating eating disorders is inclusive and evidence-based, utilizing an Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) approach. She is currently applying for her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certificate. Her approach to treating OCD is fueled by Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance Based Therapies.

Alysa also leads groups and trainings, supervises interns, and teaches courses, embodying her dedication to inspiring others both within and beyond the counseling room. She has worked as a Clinical and Executive Director, as well as a Director of Operations in Behavioral Health at various levels of care. She earned her Master’s degree from Columbia University, with an emphasis on social justice, and has cultivated her expertise at the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, Portland Dialectical Behavior Therapy Institute, Montenido affiliate Oliver-Pyatt, and Center for Discovery.
